It's about a computer monitor displaying data for the monitoring of a computer network. I do not understand what 'hole in the wall' means here. According to Answers.com 'hole in the wall' means : A small, modest, or obscure place... so what's the relation with a computer network ?
Can anyone explain and give me the french translatiion ?

: la formule me semble maladroite parce que "hole in the wall" appartient à un tout autre domaine, ce qui rend la formule marrante tandis que "barrette etc." est un terme d'informatique, du même domaine que "processor"

Peut $etre maladroi en Belgique mais c'est une formule tout ce qu'il y a de française.

il avait un problème ce moniteur: il n'aurait pas pu faire la différence entre la file d'attente du processeur et la file d'attente aux caisses du supermarché.
Though I must say it is a bit scary to contemplate a glossary entry along the lines of "hole in the wall" = "file d'attente à la caisse du supermarché"
