Dans la description d'un appareil photo étanche.
Le contexte est celui de la modification de la trajectoire de la lumière incidente, mais le terme exact ne me vient pas à l'esprit.
Merci pour vos suggestions.

: 'ajustable' hardly seems to me to correctly translate 'bending' in this context.

To reduce camera thickness but retain good light collection and high-resolution capabilities, Tremblay and colleagues replaced the traditional lens with a "folded" optical system that bends and focuses light within a single mirror-coated, 5-millimeter thick calcium fluoride optical crystal. In contrast, traditional zoom lenses generally rely on a series of separate mirrors and lenses to bend and focus light.
The term "folded" refers to the fact that the light bending and focusing elements the optic surfacesare all etched onto the same side of the crystal, thanks to recent advances in the mechanical machining process of diamond turning.

système à trajet optique aplatie
that would best describe what is a "bending optical system"; the main point of the system is to "flatten" the path of the light against the surface of the camera or the smartphone, to avoid having a protruding zoom; the "bending" of the optical path is only a mean to that end.

Discussion
Je vous remercie infiniment pour avoir choisi ma réponse comme étant la plus utile.Un choix qui m'honore venant d'une personne de votre trempe.
It's just a simple reflecting prism, not even as complex as the classic SLR 'pentaprism'.
I have hidden my answer because, with this belated context, it was clearly not appropriate to the ST context.
You will find a picture of that at about the middle of this page:

However, I suspect here we have a more technical meaning of 'bending' — but we do need to know what is actually involved. Certain ciné cameras I know did use a fibre-optic system to ensure the viewfinder image remained upright under all orientations; this could arguably be described as 'bending' but did not exactly involve refraction — or at least, refractive elements in the conventional sense..
I suspect the kind of 'bending' going on here is more a case of 'déviation', but it seems to me impossible to know without further information.
Je vous propose "Système de pliage optique"
