accompanied by an audible signal

It's always "accompanied by" and I think "audible" is better here than "sound". "signal" could be "tone" or possibly "alarm". Possibly "audible signal" could simply be "beep", but that's a bit informal.

agree Jennifer Guernsey : The sound could be a beep, or a buzz, or a ringing...I wouldn't assume beeping. So, Vova, in your last sentence, you can simply write, "...and the audible signal should stop."

agree Jack slep : I agree with this also since there is no "beeping" in the Russian text, as David points out.

Regarding audible vs. sound signal

A sound signal can be audible or inaudible. Since the signal stops "beeping" I would assume it is audible and therefore audible signal would be better than sound signal.

After looking at the Russian, I see there is no \"beeping.\" Consequently, I imagine sound/audible/audio signal could be correct.
