neutral Robert Carter : Hmm, you might be right but I'm not so sure about this, Lorena, I've never seen "cédula profesional" written that way. It's usually just "C.P." or "Céd. Prof."

The "Dirección General de Profesiones" is the Mexican equivalent to the General Medical Council.

neutral Robert Carter : Hi Cecilia. It would be "directorate" rather than "directory", and the DGP is not a medical council, it deals with professional licenses in all fields. Teachers, lawyers, accountants, etc., all require a "cédula profesional", issued by the DGP. Saludos!
