A couple of tips just off the top of my head: • Always try to address your letter to a specific person (including name, title, company, and address). • Clearly state the purpose of your letter — why you're writing and the position sought. • Emphasize skills that relate to the job. • Avoid overusing "I" statements. Hi Victor Imo it's much more effective to phone the people you want to work with explaining why and what you have to offer, then if it might work out they will ask you to send a mail with a CV to their mail address and give it due attention when it arrives a few minutes later. Unsolicited mail will probably be ignored or get an automatic copy/paste reply. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Looking for advice on how to write outstanding cover letters.
