Hello,

I love proz, but I find that it doesn't have many jobs for my language pair, so I wonder if you know a similar portal but japanese that I can check to see what kind of jobs do they offer there.

Thank you

Have you tried registering a profile on https://translator.jp/ ? There aren't many Japanese-Italian (日伊) translators on there (especially not native Italian speakers), so you should stand out.

Be ready with your degree and JLPT certificates (they require at least N2 to register), as they do verify them.

Best of luck!

Thank you. I didn't do it, but I can try. Unfortunately though I have only a master degree in japanese, I never took the JLPT N2 exam...

You could also look at www.jat.org Nov 4, 2022

This is the Japan Association of Translators. Membership is 10,000 yen a year but they have a jobs board and a directory for members (I can actually only see one other native Japanese-Italian translator on there at present). A lot of the jobs are also posted on Proz but not all. Members also get access to a video archive of training events.

You might as well give translator.jp a try - they may be less strict about the JLPT requirement for less competitive language pairs.
