Thanks, Amy! Dec 2, 2010

I've already adopted obstrigillate (as if I needed any more ways to say "no!") and have passed on the link to my FB circle.

A simple fun idea!

Alison

I've also been browsing... Dec 3, 2010

...but I'm worried. How can I take the responsibility for a word on my own small shoulders? And what if it dies on me? Will it have been removed from the list.... never to be heard of again?
I don't think I'm ready to make this decision at this point in my life. However, if anyone tires of their responsibility, I could foster on a weekend basis.

Hi Emma Dec 3, 2010

I worried about this, too (sad, aren't we?), but it turned out that I could have adopted the same word as Wordeffect, which may be because the system had not updated or that the responsibility of rescuing these words for posterity is, in fact, accorded to teams of the willing.
