Hi, this is our first request to have a Simplified Chinese translation undertaken for a Singaporean audience. My question is, is the Simplified Chinese used in Singapore the same as for mainland china or are there differences?

Hello,
I am a very beginner in Chinese but I looked for information as I am addicted to learning languages.
One translation agency in Japan shows on their website some words that are common or different in Mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. https://www.jtc.co.jp/blog/question_3/

Example: taxi 出租车 (China) / 德士 (Singapore and Malaysia)
I searched two keywords in Chinese on Google: 德士 and 新加坡 As you can see the screenshot in attachment, 德士 is usually in Singapore. ▲ Collapse

They are mutually intelligible with different TMs. Both English and Chinese ( or maybe Malay) are linguistically creole style. It would be something like FR France vs FR Canada.
