Hi all,

Does anyone know a method to display the IP numbers of the mails in outlook express. Thank you all for all the tips now itself.

Just right click on the desired message, select Properties and then select Details. All the information is right there.

Good luck!

May be the german edition is slightly different. Here I do not see properties/Settings. I am using the MS-Office part of the outlook express and not the one at OS level ( which is infact smaller)
Thank you again

Another way to access the the same details is:

double mouse click on the message
(it opens in a new window)
press ALT+Enter on your keyboard
(another new window will open)
Click on the TAB titled "Details"

And another way is:

to select the message in OE and then click (top menu) File, Properties, Details(tab), Message source, where a fuller header for the message is given.
(Sorry if this doesn't appear on your system).

I must say, it can appear a little bit confusing working out which IP address is the original one, since there can be a chain of a few, but I guess that's because I'm unused to interpreting these headers.
