Just right click on the desired message, select Properties and then select Details. All the information is right there.

May be the german edition is slightly different. Here I do not see properties/Settings. I am using the MS-Office part of the outlook express and not the one at OS level ( which is infact smaller) Thank you again brandis

double mouse click on the message (it opens in a new window) press ALT+Enter on your keyboard (another new window will open) Click on the TAB titled "Details"

And another way is:
to select the message in OE and then click (top menu) File, Properties, Details(tab), Message source, where a fuller header for the message is given. (Sorry if this doesn't appear on your system).
I must say, it can appear a little bit confusing working out which IP address is the original one, since there can be a chain of a few, but I guess that's because I'm unused to interpreting these headers.
