I have a question about the statistics pane in Passolo.
Say I get a file with these statistics:
Translation Statistics

Untranslated 5'406 Words
Untranslated Repetitions 6'696 Words
Translated and validated 342 Words

I have a question about the statistics pane in Passolo.
Say I get a file with these statistics:
Translation Statistics
To be translated 12'444 Words
Untranslated 5'406 Words
Untranslated Repetitions 6'696 Words
Translated and validated 342 Words
How am I supposed to bill that?
Yes, straightforward answer is you bill the 5406 untranslated words
But what about the untranslated repetitions?
How should they get billed? If I only charge the number of ''untranslated strings'' (i.e. the number of strings that have to be translated, without repetitions, see below), who translates the ''Untranslated Repetitions'' and how should they get billed?
Passolo help sections says:
Total number of strings ''to be translated''
= The number of strings that have to be translated, including repetitions. 12444
Number of ''untranslated strings''
= The number of strings that have to be translated, without repetitions. 5406
Number of ''untranslated, repeated strings'' 6696
= The number of strings that have to be translated but occur again somewhere else so that they can be translated using the pre-translation or replicate functions.
Having a brain meltdown, can someone please chime in? Cheers. ▲ Collapse
